Conservation volunteering is a great way to get close to nature, keep fit and learn new skills!
Our volunteer sessions are held on the last Sunday of each month
Time: 10am - 12, meet at the notice board opposite the car park.
No experience required. We will usually have tasks for all abilities.
Gloves & tools are provided. Just dress for the weather with sturdy, waterproof footwear.
Age 15yrs and up
NEXT VOLUNTEER SESSION
Our next session will be on Sunday 23rd February. We have a variety of tasks including weeding the raised
beds in the Championship Garden, removing redundant tree tubes & stakes from some of the young trees
and removing new regrowth from the invasive rhododendrons. Do come and join us!
YOUNG RANGER GROUP
South Ayrshire Ranger Service have an exciting new Junior Ranger programme for Spring 2025.
For young people aged 13-18, this is a great opportunity to learn about nature conservation and develop
basic bushcraft skills. Their sessions are held on the same date & time as ours.
